Craft Night: Eye on the Prize - Repurposed Trophies

About Craft Night:

Falling on the 4th Thursday of each month, Craft Night is a long held tradition led by two of ACR's dedicated core volunteers. Craft Night is not only an opportunity to celebrate the pure joy of making things, but is also an excellent chance to explore the rich offerings of ACR's wonderful bucket section. Your admission fee of $5 will entitle you to fill a bucket with items from our bucket section that can be used for that evening's project (along with whatever else happens to tickle your fancy)! Pack it to the brim if you'd like to get every bit of your $5 worth! Your instructors will organize a project for each class and after walking you through the framework, will turn you loose to gather items for your project so you can commence to crafting. We'll provide tools and any speciality items you might need to complete the project.

Craft night is appropriate for ages 12 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult and each person is required to purchase a ticket.

Beginning with the bountiful trophy parts bin, we'll mine the depths of the bucket section for eclectic accessories to use in fashioning an award for someone in your life who deserves a quirky, highly personalized token of your esteem - including you! Talented assemblage artist Mark Slonsky (@arresting_gear_industries) has generously agreed to be our guest teacher and aid participants with the tricky business of unifying diverse elements and encouraging them to remain together. If you love assemblage art, do not miss this valuable opportunity to learn at the elbow of a master of putting things together in a pleasing way!
