Join us in the library for a craft workshop offered by local artist Rita Healey. In this class participants will explore art surfaces with inks and stitchery. Using straws to blow ink on watercolor paper that has been sewn on, participants will examine the resulting designs. Based on what each person sees, they will draw unto these designs with Sharpies to create abstractions.No experience is necessary. Class size is limited to 8 people.
NOTE: this class often has a wait list. If you sign up and are no longer able to attend, please cancel your registration immediately. If you are placed on the wait list, please check your email frequently for a notice on whether you have moved into the class.
If you do not cancel your registration and do not show up for the class, the library has the option to decline your registration for future workshops.
