Yes, we saw you tagging us in that viral video of crafters attending a screening of 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU.
So…let’s do it. Join us this Sunday night at 7pm for a special screening of THELMA…crafts welcome!
The screening will be presented with walk-in lights on and open captions.
We welcome easily contained projects like knitting, crocheting, drawing, etc. Please don't bring your portable pottery wheel, your 80 piece model airplane kit, or glitter in any form (especially no glitter)! While we will treasure the memory of the projects you create in our theaters, we don't need souvenirs in the form of yarn scraps and pencil shavings.
Presented in partnership with Home Ec.
About the film:
"Thelma is more than a winsome romp. It's a real thrill." — Kristy Puchko, Mashable
"There’s no doubting June Squibb’s charisma, and it’s refreshing to see her in a lead role at the grand age of 94." — Hannah Strong, Little White Lies
"A warm hug, one that anybody with an elderly relative can appreciate on some level." — Peter Debruge, Variety
Thelma Post, a feisty 93-year-old grandmother gets conned by a phone scammer pretending to be her grandson and sets out on a treacherous quest across Los Angeles, accompanied by an aging friend and his motorized scooter, to reclaim what was taken from her. Thelma’s grit and determination demonstrates that she is more than capable of taking care of business – despite what her daughter Gail, son-in-law Alan, or grandson Danny might believe.
