It all started as a home brewing operation in the basement of two of the owners' mom years ahead of opening its first location. However, she preferred they call it a "lower level" instead of a basement. Little did she know that would inspire the abbreviated name "Lolev" as the name for the entire operation. Lolev officially opened its doors to the public in December of 2022 in Pittsburgh's hipster community of Lawrenceville. Since then, they have been dedicated in crafting thoughtfully made flavorful beer and relentless in their pursuit to be a top name in the craft beer world while creating a welcoming neighborhood bar feel as they continue expanding.

Umber Chocolates PGH was officially founded in 2022 when owner and chocolatier, Veronica Alvarado, reminisced on her days working for another great chocolate shop in Texas. She learned how to handcraft bonbons and so much more which inspired her passion for making an edible art that many would now fall in love with and support wholeheartedly. Ironically enough, before working for a chocolate shop in college, she hated chocolate and had no idea that would soon become her life's work. Today, Umber Chocolates is now ran by Veronica and her partner, Adam Molitor, who pushed her to pursue this sweet dream.

Thursday March 26th these two will join forces to fuse the world of luxury chocolate and craft beer leaving you mind blown and full of joy seeing how well specialty chocolates can pair with top notch beers you never imagined.
