Craft & M**der Mystery Night: Right Stitch, Wrong Time
About this Event
What was supposed to be a cozy night of crafting turns into total chaos...
You're invited to Montreal's most dramatic crochet night! A group settles in for an after-hours workshop when one member goes missing without a trace, and nothing about the evening adds up from there. Alibis stop matching, secrets start slipping, and the whole room turns suspicious of each other.
Now it's up to you to solve the mystery!
Join us for the 4th edition of our Craft and M**der Mystery Night at the Montreal Crochet and Knit Club! This has become a cult classic at the club, we love getting together and solving cases. All fictional, all craft storylines, for funsies. If you're a true crime fan or love playing detective and sleuthing, this is the event for you.
Bring your project, whatever you're working on, or just come for the vibes and enjoy an interactive whodunit where you get to play detective. New story every time. Come solo or bring your friends, either way, we're all in the same detective unit.
No acting required, just ask questions, figure out motives, dig into the hidden meaning behind clues, and make accusations if you feel called to.
Hosted by Shosho Abotouk, Montreal Crochet & Knit Club

The story
Six club members. One after-hours workshop. A new stitch pattern nobody can quite finish. Halfway through the session, one of them, Zoe, steps away from the table and never comes back.
Was it cold feet? A secret she wasn't ready to face? Or does someone else at that table know exactly what happened to her?
The characters
- The workshop instructor and host (Ines)
- The host's assistant (Priya)
- The café barista (Sam)
- The workshop attendees:
- Zoe Théo Odette Marcus Simone Fatima
How it works
Everyone gets pulled into the same detective unit for the night. You'll meet the cast, hear the story, then spend the middle of the evening moving around the room, asking characters questions, piecing together motives, and following clues wherever they lead.
No scripts to memorize, no performance required, just good instincts and a willingness to accuse your table-mates when the evidence points their way. It all builds to a live reveal where the room finds out, together, who actually did it.
