About the Experience
After the first Crab N Chill reached capacity, one question kept coming up:
“When’s the next one?”
So… we’re doing it again.
Crab N Chill is a relaxed waterfront experience where community, conversation, and the outdoors come together. Whether you’re an experienced crabber or trying it for the very first time, this evening is designed for you to slow down, connect, and enjoy one of Virginia Beach’s favorite summer traditions.
This isn’t a loud party.
It isn’t a crowded festival.
It’s an intentional experience where you can unplug, enjoy the fresh air, meet great people, and create lasting memories.
Come ready to laugh, learn, relax, and maybe even head home with a bucket full of blue crabs.
What to Expect

What to Bring
Please bring:
• Crab pot, ring, or hand line (if you plan to crab)
• Bait
• Chair
• Cooler or bucket
• Water and snacks
• Bug spray
• Comfortable clothing
• A great attitude
No crabbing equipment?
No problem. You don’t have to crab to enjoy Crab N Chill. You’re welcome to join us to relax, connect, enjoy the waterfront, and experience the atmosphere.

Location
The exact meeting location near the Lesner Bridge will be emailed to registered guests before the event.

Registration is required.
Attendance is intentionally limited to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Children are welcome but must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.
Participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment and following all applicable Virginia crabbing regulations.
Photography and video recording will take place throughout the event. By registering and attending Crab N Chill, you grant permission for your image, voice, and likeness to be captured and used in photographs, videos, and promotional materials for future Crab N Chill events, social media, websites, and other marketing materials without additional compensation.
By attending, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

The first Crab N Chill filled quickly, and this experience is intentionally limited to preserve the atmosphere that made the first gathering so special.
If you’re looking for another ordinary Saturday evening, this probably isn’t it.
