CPTSD: Complicated Women's Disease

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. In hopes to spread awareness and encourage conversation to make sexual violence prevention possible, this month is all about empowering survivors and educating others. Artists & Survivors, Ali Waller and Kylie Vincent, come together for one night only for a special performance of a live body casting while a stand-up/storytelling performance about CPTSD happens live.

Kylie Vincent (Comedy Central) and Ali Waller (/200 Project) met through a TikTok survivor algorithm lol (it's a dark algorithm, but it brought them together, yay!)

Ali Waller believes in extinguishing the shame heaped on survivors not only in response to the assault itself, but in how long and ugly healing may be. "I never wish to romanticize the pain we all carry- instead I hope for us the /200 project to be a community of survivors grieving and growing hand in hand." See Ali's work.

Kylie Vincent is a stand-up comedian and storyteller and toured with her one woman show, Bird, for years to tell the story of growing up in an abusive home, but also making tons of insane jokes about it. See Kylie's work.*partail nudity and trigger warning talks about PTSD
