Free for Foster Plus, BHTFC agency staff, & Foster Parents, we are holding a 2.5 day, in-person Collaborative Problem Solving Tier 1 Training with our partner agency, Boys & Girls Aid! Registrations accepted through the end of day Monday, March 20. Event dates & times:
▶ Wednesday, March 22: 9am-5pm
▶ Thursday, March 23: 9am-5pm
▶ Friday, March 24: 9am-1pm
This is an excellent opportunity to learn the CPS model, gain understanding about how it can support your work with kids in your care, and refine your Plan B skills so that you can have even more effective Plan B conversations.
You'll also get to spend time with others from across the foster care and larger behavioral health field!
For those who might prefer in-person learning and who would prefer this training in a more concentrated format (rather than the Parent Class model, which is spread out over the course of 8 weeks) this is your chance! If you have already taken the CPS Parent Class, you are welcome to join this training for a refresher and to sharpen your skills. Please remember that the CPS Parent Class or the CPS Tier 1 Training are a certification requirement.
