CPR Training: Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider

This class provides Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider CPR training through the American Heart Association.

• This level of CPR training is required for LMC Health Science program students.
• Community members who work in healthcare may also enroll in this class.

BLS Provider is designed for healthcare professonals who work in the patient care setting (such as EMTs, imaging technologists, medical assistants, nurses, paramedics, etc.) Training includes CPR , single-rescuer skills, and team-based application. BLS Provider is more comprehensive than standard CPR/First Aid training.

Our BLS Provider classes are taught by qualified Lake Michigan College instructors in accordance with current AHA guidelines.

Classes are held in person at the LMC Benton Harbor campus in our CPR classroom, C-102. Students should bring a pen/pencil and wear comfortable clothing. A maximum of 8 students per class allowed. Students typically receive their BLS Provider completion card by e-mail within 1-2 weeks after completing the class.

How to Sign Up

To enroll in this course, purchase a "ticket" to reserve your spot in the class. Upon check out, pay the course fee. This will confirm your enrollment. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from Eventbrite when complete. Class fees must be paid with a debit or credit card online through Eventbrite. Failure to pay for the class fee during check out will result in an incomplete and cancelled registration.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept cash or check payments for courses scheduled through Eventbrite.
