CPR - First Aid - Stop the Bleed Training
About this Event
Join Humboldt Bay Fire CERT for a free, hands-on community training designed to teach essential lifesaving skills that can help you respond confidently during everyday emergencies.
Participants will receive practical instruction in:
- Basic First Aid
- Adult CPR
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
- Stop the Bleed - bleeding control techniques, including direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application
This interactive course emphasizes hands-on practice and is designed for community members, parents, caregivers, teachers, workplace teams, volunteers, and anyone interested in becoming better prepared to help others before emergency responders arrive.
No previous medical experience is required.
The course is free to attend. A certification fee only applies if you need a First Aid Certificate of Completion for employment, school, licensing, or another official requirement. Red Cross First Aid / CPR certificate is $35 payable the day of course.
