About this Event
The Children's Policy and Law Initiative of Indiana invites you to join us for our Annual Public Policy Summit, hosted at MCCOY with a virtual option via Zoom on December 6, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm EST.
The 2024 Hybrid Annual Public Policy Summit will focus on initiatives to advance youth justice in Indiana, including presentations on key issues and resources on how to advocate for equitable, just and developmentally-appropriate treatment of children in 2025. This event will include a discussion of expected legislation in the 2025 Indiana General Assembly Session.
About CPLI
The Children’s Policy and Law Initiative (CPLI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing a statewide-interdisciplinary alliance to advocate for fundamental changes in public policy for children in Indiana. CPLI advocates for systemic changes for children so that programs, policies and practices are developmentally-appropriate, fair and equitably-administered, and provide the necessary support for a child’s successful transition to adulthood.
CPLI is one of 60 organizations in 43 states that belongs to the National Juvenile Justice Network (NJJN). The NJJN leads a movement of state-based advocacy groups working toward a fairer youth justice system.
