CPG Member Visit to the Newberry Library

Join fellow CPG members for a special visit to the Newberry Library, hosted by Will Hansen, co-curator of vice president for collections and library services, and curator of Americana at the Newberry.

This session will showcase zines, artists’ books, and other print-based works from the library’s Indigenous Studies collection, with a focus on contemporary material by Indigenous creators.

Explore how Indigenous artists and writers use independent publishing to shape narratives, assert cultural identity, and influence popular culture — themes central to the Native Pop! exhibition.
