Have you ever wanted to learn to knit? If you have tried and failed or are a complete beginner, local fiber artist Ginger Stoops is a patient teacher who can help. In this class, you will learn the basics and complete a beginner-friendly pair of fingerless gloves or a cozy winter headband to take off the chill.
They are knitted with bulky #6 yarn or doubled #3 yarn that is perfect for beginners. All yarn is provided, and we will have needles and other necessary equipment for you to borrow. If you wish to bring your own needles, this project uses size 13.
Cost: FREE
Age: 10+
Class limited to 15, so be sure to preregister to hold your spot. Call the Parks Department at 419-522-9801 to reserve your spot. Participants must be registered for the class.
