Grab your hat, loosen your spurs, and get ready to mix three frontier‑era favourites that helped shape the cocktail world as we know it.
The Age of the Cowboy overlapped with the Golden Era of Cocktails, a time when bartenders were inventing the classics, hotel bars were booming, and the American frontier was thirsty.
In this workshop, you’ll explore the drinks that defined the era, as well as cocktail culture as we know it: the bold, bracing, spirit‑forward cocktails that kept cowboys, travelers, and high‑society hotel guests equally satisfied. You’ll learn why saloons served what they did, how hotel bars became the birthplace of cocktail culture, and what drinking looked like when the West was still wild.
Expect tall tales, historical tidbits, a little myth‑busting, and of course… plenty of drinking.
Saddle up for a trip to the Wild West—where six‑shooters, saloons, and some of the earliest “modern” cocktails all shared the same dusty stage.

CANCELLATION POLICY
This cocktail class is subject to cancellation by the host if the minimum class size is not met or other circumstances make it not possible to host. If this is event is cancelled, we will issue a full refund of the ticket price. Notice will be given no later than 2 days before the event.
REFUND POLICY
Full refunds will be issued to tickets returned more than 7 days before the date of the event.
If the ticket holder or purchaser desires to cancel or return their ticket within 7 days of the event they can choose one of the following options:
Option 1 - 50% of the cost of the ticket will be refunded.
Option 2 - receive the full ticket value in credit to be used at a future ticketed Confluence event of their choice (not including service fees).
No refund options are available for cancellations made less than 24 hours.
DIETARY RESTRICTIONS
Any dietary restrictions or special needs must be communicated immediately upon purchase of the tickets. Please contact us as soon as possible.
