This traditional EMT class is being offered TUITION-FREE. Students will only have to pay for some fees, books, uniforms, and NREMT testing fees. This funding is the result of a Rapid Response grant from South Louisiana Community College and Louisiana’s Community and Technical Colleges.The traditional EMT program is a hybrid course. Students will be able to complete the academic elements of the course online and will spend approximately 70 hours in a classroom learning hands-on skills. It will take about 4 months to complete all courses and earn certification.
