Portland Ars Poetica presents Cover to Cover's Poetic Bibliomancy!

Consider: what would Angelou advise? Whitman say? Bibliomancy has been practiced for centuries. Ask a question. Get an answer from a book. Poets know best!

Join co-hosts John Miller, Becca Bluemel and M. L Lyons for this special event at Rose City Book Pub that celebrates the coming weekend's Portland Book Festival.

The guidelines:

\- Bring your own published poetry collection or your favorite book of poems and add it to a box\.
\- Open mic readers will pick a book from the box\, open to a random page\, and read\, or they can ask the audience where to start and perform the poem as is\.

This event is open to all, whether you bring a poetry book or not. Event starts at 5:30 PM and lasts an hour. Come for the poetry! Stay for the performance and hear something new!
