Whether you're an aspiring model, photographer, or creative director, this workshop breaks down the creative steps and practical guidelines behind producing international fashion magazine editorials, from developing a concept to working effectively on set and getting your images published.
During this workshop we'll cover:
- Directing models to create authentic and compelling performance art for editorials
- How to level up from a human tripod or content creator to become a published artist
- What fashion magazines look for in a cover submission
- Building a concept that tells a cinematic story instead of just capturing beauty
- Styling, wardrobe and visual direction
- Lighting, composition and cinematic atmosphere
- Common mistakes that prevent editorial submissions from getting published and how to avoid them
- How magazine publications can strengthen your portfolio and creative career
After the introduction, participants will take part in a live editorial demonstration where we'll create magazine-quality images together inside a professional photography studio.
There will be time for questions, networking and connecting with other creatives from the House of Mirrors community.
