COVA Street Team at East Ocean View Farmers Market

Join COVA Coalition's Street Team to talk to voters at community events and show people the resistance is alive and well! One of their upcoming events is the East Ocean View Farmers Market, 9-11 am on Saturday, October 31, at Bay Oaks Park, 2413 E Ocean View Ave, Norfolk, VA. Sign up at... https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/1046837/
The team will share educational materials and discuss why it's important to vote "yes" on the 3 amendments to the Virginia Constitution on the ballot this November. They'll also show people how to register to vote or check/update their voter registration on their phones; give out stickers; and encourage others to find their voice, take action, and protect democracy!
PLEASE NOTE: This activity involves standing and walking! We will NOT have a table at this event; instead, we will walk around and talk to people as they enter the venue. All team members will be briefed on the content and importance of the 3 amendments, trained on how to engage people, and provided with the materials needed (flyers, clipboard, stickers, etc.).
(This event is NOT hosted by Virginia Beach Resistance.)
