We're excited to announce the upcoming annual Courage to Renew Conference being held the last weekend of September before Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the sometimes stressful holiday season.

According to the Center for Disease Control & Prevention, Childhood Sexual Abuse Survivors are 30% more likely to have Substance Abuse, Cancer, Heart Problems, Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Chronic Headaches, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, and Mental Health Problems. As a result, childhood sexual abuse costs the U.S. economy $9.3 billion in a single year due to Healthcare, Criminal Justice, and Productivity Losses.

The profound impact of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) reverberates through the mental health, financial stability, and professional growth of survivors and their communities, casting a long shadow over their well-being. While healing solutions can reshape the trajectory of these consequences, the capacity of communities to provide lasting support often falls short.

Addressing this pressing need, Hidn TrezHER, Inc. is proud to present the annual Courage to Renew Conference (CRC) this September at The Gathering Spot in Washington D.C.. By featuring enriching Panel Discussions, serene Calming Rooms, confidential 1:1 sessions with licensed Mental Health Counselors, immersive Interactive Workshops, and a celebratory Awards Reception, this registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization is committed to helping attendees rewrite their narrative. Through PHC, Hidn TrezHER, Inc. aims to dismantle the barriers that hinder mental well-being and economic progress for both survivors and their communities, fostering empowerment and transformation.

2023 Conference Theme of “Progression over Perfection” emphasizes that healing is not just something we need to give ourselves permission to do, but also a reminder that we are the architects of our own healing journey. By relinquishing the pressure to be perfect and embracing the courage to be imperfect, attendees can gain a renewed sense of freedom, authenticity, and connection with a community of other survivors, community leaders and organizations.
