Can I attend if I am pregnant?
The American Pregnancy Association says that women can begin massage at any point during a pregnancy. Massage therapy during pregnancy has been shown to provide many benefits, including a sense of wellness, improved relaxation, and better sleep. However, many prenatal massage therapists will not accept clients until the second trimester of pregnancy. Because certain techniques and trigger points in the body can cause contractions, blood clots and premature labor, so seeking expertise is vital. Due to massage techniques used in this class, unfortunately, this class is not suited for pregnant people. Please consult a licensed pregnancy masseuse for specialized massage methods.
Covid Precautions: Masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer will be available for those who wish to use them.
Parking: There is metered street parking available in front and around Creator's Space. There is also a pay lot kiddie corner to Creators Space for about $5. Carpools encouraged. Free parking on Sundays!
