County Grounds Park - Buckthorn Removal 10/26/2024 @9am

Join other volunteers for 2 or 3 hours of removing buckthorn. No experience needed, training and supervision will be provided.

Registration is requested for coordination purposes. Bring your favorite work gloves, or we have ones to loan. All tools and training will be provided onsite. Appropriate for all ages, including families. Bring your own water, additional water will be available onsite.

Meeting at 9am at the Friends of County Grounds shed (see instructions and image below).

Drive ~ 1 block north of 92nd and Watertown Plank Road. Parking shown on map. Meet at the shed just north of the Watertown Apartments. Additioanl park map at:

Dress for the weather, we will hold event even in light rain. There are no onsite restrooms.
