This is going to be a unique on-off. Expect a fantastic mainly, but not exclusively, traditional night. The performers are:
Grace Lemon. Grace is a four times All-Ireland Pipe Champion. She played amazingly at Dulwich before (with the singer Marianne McAleer), leading to the comments of one audience member " who needs an electric guitar when you've got pipes like that". As well as traditional music Grace plays with another piper Paddi Benson, currently their compositions about Bedlam.
Peta Webb and Ken Hall. Long time singers, promoters and advocates of Irish and English traditional music and frequent visitors to the Inishowen Singing weekend, Ken and Peta will offer brilliant harmonies and superb singing; previously they were at Dulwich as part of our own Transatlantic Session.
Rowan Piggott Plays fiddle and sings. Rowan was raised in Co Clare, and his father Charlie was a box player for De Dannan. Best known as one third of The Wilderness Yet, Rowan is an accomplished singer and songwriter as well as a very fine fiddle player. He is also one half of Old Spot, a successful old time music duo, as well as being a record producer and the author of books on Irish, Swedish and old - time fiddle tunes.
The evening will provide a musical bridge between the Irish music and song traditions and the generational gap between the performers.
