The 411 on Joe -

Country music artist and Comedian Joe Denim writes irreverent, quirky songs with witty lyrics and Shel Silverstein Style twists. Think…if Ray Stevens was sitting in a jacuzzi, reading the Far Side to Larry The Cable Guy, Joe Denim would be their illegitimate, hot tub love child!

Fans will recognize Joe for the double platinum selling, irreverent break up hit “Pray For You” he wrote with Jaron Lowenstein and the ultimate redneck love song “Together We’re A Ten”.

Whether he’s performing solo with an acoustic guitar in front of 30,000 people who are singing along to “Pray For You” (which was the case at the Tree Town Festival in 2017), emcee/musical director/performer for the CMA 60th anniversary party, at a songwriter round or a country bar, Joe has an inherent ability to connect with and entertain the audience. Joe has shared the stage with the likes of Big & Rich, Charlie Daniels, Joe Nichols, Uncle Kracker, Love and Theft, Granger Smith, Dwight Yoakam, Alan Jackson, High Valley and Craig Morgan. Joe is also regularly an official performer at CMA Music Festival, Tin Pan South and BMI’s Key West Songwriters Festival.

Joe also brings his unique mix of comedy to clubs across the country from Zanies in Nashville to The Improv in Los Angeles. He’s shared the stage with many talented comedians including Dusty Slay, Killer Beaz, Pauly Shore, Ralphie May, Tom Mabe and Rodney Carrington.

Outside of his music career, Joe made his acting debut with a cameo in the feature film “An LA Minute,” starring Kiersey Clemons and Gabriel Byrne. Directed by Dan Adams and written by Larry “Ratso” Sloman, the film opened in theaters August 2018.

Joe is both highly entertaining and professional when acting as emcee for an event. Country music festivals such as Tree Town and Mill Creek, the first season of the “Nashville House Concerts”, a monthly series he co-hosted with radio personality Storme Warren and “Blue Dizzy”, a monthly variety show at The Wildhorse Saloon that he created and hosted

Before launching his solo career, Joe, who is a classically trained pianist, played Hammond B3 and keys on the road with numerous country stars including Steve Holy and Uncle Kracker. An active member of the songwriter community in Nashville, Joe writes both for himself and to pitch regularly with the likes of Gary Hannan, Earl Bud Lee, Brice Long, Drake White, Uncle Kracker, Lewis Brice, Rodney Carrington, Love and Theft, and many more.

An avid outdoorsman and hunter Joe was taught from an early age to respect the environment and leave it better than he’s found it. Born in Indiana and raised on a working dairy farm in rural Ohio, Joe honed his harmonica skills calling the cows into feeding every morning at 5:00 am.
