LAST SURVIVING MEMBERS OF COUNTRY JOE & THE FISH TO APPEAR AT THE COLONY IN WOODSTOCK
David Bennett Cohen and Barry "The Fish" Melton Bring the Spirit of the Summer of Love to an Intimate Hudson Valley Performance
An evening with David Bennett Cohen and Barry "The Fish" Melton, the last surviving members of the legendary psychedelic rock pioneers Country Joe & The Fish.
Following the passing of Country Joe McDonald earlier this year, Cohen and Melton now carry forward the legacy of one of the defining bands of the 1960s counterculture movement. Their appearance offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience two of the original architects of psychedelic rock performing together in an intimate setting.
More than a nostalgic reunion, this performance celebrates a musical legacy that helped shape a generation. Cohen and Melton continue to perform with the same passion and musicianship that made Country Joe & The Fish an enduring influence on rock music, while sharing stories from the cultural revolution that changed American music forever.
