Countdown Improv Festival 2024

The Countdown Improv Festival triumphantly returns to the HCC Ybor Performing Arts Building in the Ybor City neighborhood of Tampa for our eighth big year. Our 2024 festival will feature over 100 different trio, duo, and solo improv acts from all over the United States. Join us for five nights of hilarious and unforgettable improv comedy!

This year's performances will take place across three stages at HCC Ybor City from Wednesday, August 7 through Sunday, August 11.

We're offering three types of tickets for this year's festival. All tickets are general admission, reserved seating is not available. Buy early to secure the best price and reserve your seat!

All-festival passes offer audience members the chance to see any and all festival shows over all four nights. All-festival passes are a significant savings over the cost of purchasing nightly passes. If you are considering attending more than one night of shows this year, this is the value buy!

Pricing: $55 (through July 31) / $60 (August 1 onward)

Nightly passes can be purchased for individual show nights and allow attendees access to all festival stages. They are redeemable up until the final block of the night.

Pricing:

Wednesday night pass: $20 (through July 31) / $25 (July 22 onward)

Thursday night pass: $20 (through July 31) / $25 (August 1 onward)

Friday night pass: $30 (through July 31) / $35 (August 1 onward)

Saturday night pass: $30 (through July 31) / $35 (August 1 onward)

Sunday night pass: $ 20 (through July 31 / $25 (August 1 onward)

Individual show block tickets are available for $20 (only $15 through July 31!), and get you into the specified block of your choice.

Where is the festival located?

The festival is located in the Ybor City neighborhood at the HCC Ybor Performing Arts Building, 1411 E. 11th Avenue, Tampa, FL 33605.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There are no ID or minimum age requirements; however, improvisational comedy can be unpredictable and mature themes can arise unexpectedly. Basically, if you wouldn't bring your kids to a PG-13 movie, you probably shouldn't bring them to the festival.

Will food and beverage be available?

With the exception of bottled water, food and beverage will not be available, and are not allowed inside the theater, so please plan accordingly.

What is your latecomers' policy?

Ticketholders who arrive more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time for a given block of shows will be seated at the discretion of management.

Where can I park?

Paid parking is available after 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, and all day and night Saturday in the HCC lots directly to the north and the west of the HCC Ybor Performing Arts Building. A limited amount of free street parking is also available on E. 11th Avenue and N. 14th Street. Finally, you can always find parking at the Fernando Noriega Jr. Garage on E. Palm Avenue between N. 12th and N. 13th Streets, a two-block walk from the venue.

Are tickets refundable?

Tickets are non-refundable.
