About this Event
Join Downwinder Attorney Laura J. Taylor Turner for a free educational seminar about the Downwinders Program — a federal compensation program for individuals and families who developed certain cancers, lymphomas, or leukemia after living downwind of nuclear test sites.
If you or a loved one lived in Utah, Idaho, or other designated areas for at least one year between 1951 and 1962 and were later diagnosed with a compensable disease, you may be entitled to significant federal compensation.
At this free seminar, you will learn:
- What the Downwinders Program covers and who qualifies
- How to document and file a claim
- What compensation amounts look like under the current program
- How to get started — even if you've been told you don't qualify
Laura J. Taylor Turner has been filing Downwinders claims since 2002 with a 97% approval rate and over 2,000 claims filed. This event is completely free, open to the public, and designed for survivors, family members, and community advocates alike.
Seating is limited. Reserve your spot today.
