Cotopaxi Questival for University of Washington Students

 Questival is coming to the University of Washington! Join us on April 5-6th for a 24-hour adventure you won’t want to miss.

Questival is a free 24-hour adventure challenge where you will create memories that last a lifetime. This Questival is only for University of Washington students, and is coming to Seattle, WA on April 5-6th.

Questival is brought to you by the Cotopaxi campus team.

Step 1: RSVP here on Eventbrite.

Step 2: Build your team. Grab a team of 2-6 people, and make sure every person (not just every team) registers for the event here on this page so they don’t miss important information and updates.

Step 3: Download the Goosechase app. After you submit this RSVP, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the join code and password. This app is where you’ll complete Questival missions.

Step 4: Stay tuned to emails for updates and to get the full list of missions 24 hours before Questival begins.

Step 5: On April 5th from 1-4pm, one representative from your team must pick up this year's Questival sticker. This sticker must appear in the photos and videos of all the missions you complete. Sticker pickup is mandatory.

Step 6: On April 5th at 5pm all missions go live and it's time for Questival!

As you complete missions with your team, you’ll upload them into the Goosechase app, usually a pic, video, or GPS check in. Some are big adventures (and worth big points) while others are fun little quests. There's a niche for everyone: adventure, learning something new, service, creativity, and team strengthening. The teams with the most points at the end of Questival wins!

At 5pm on April 5th, the winners will be announced over email. In addition to bragging rights of being the best adventurer who attends University of Washington, each member of the winning team will win the following prizes:

1st Place - Cotopaxi Allpa 35L backpack ($200 value)

2nd Place - Cotopaxi Luzon 18L backpack ($55 value)

3rd Place - Cotopaxi Bataan hip pack ($35 value)

In addition to prizes for winning teams, there will be bonus opportunities to win additional Cotopaxi gear. Some missions also include free swag from our sponsors, like snacks from Quinn and chocolate from Tony’s Chocolonely.

Questival officially begins on April 5th, 2024 at 5pm. That’s when 200+ missions go live in the Goosechase app. But a handful of missions will be available in the weeks leading up to Questival. Here’s a quick rundown:

NOW: Signups and early Questival missions are live

April 5th: A list of missions is released via email. Get together with your team to start planning!

April 5th 1-4pm: Someone from your team needs to be available to pick up your team sticker at our check-in table at Denny Field. This MUST appear in all photos but cannot be picked up until this time. No early starts allowed :) 

April 5th at 5pm: Questival is live!

April 6th, 1-5am: Questival goes dark, you should too. All missions locked during this time.

April 6th at 5pm: Questival is over. End wherever you are. Get some rest.April 6th at 8pm: Winners announced via email.
