July is a big month for Kukui’s because we will be doing 2 fundraisers that are near and dear to my heart. The first one, is for a coworker of mine at a local pharmacy I work at during our off-season. Her son, Breyman, was born with a rare liver disease, and in February of this year, he received a life saving liver. Click the link to read their story.

On July 9th, Kukui’s Hawaiian Shave Ice will donate 50% of our sales to COTA for Breyman Strong. COTA (Children’s Organ Transplant Organization) is a nationwide not-for-profit group based in Bloomington, that assists families with transplant related expenses.
Kukui’s is small, but we want to make a BIG difference in the life of Breyman and his family. That’s where we need your help!! The only way to make this day a success, is for you, our amazing customers, to not only come to Kukui’s on July 9th but to also share this information on your Facebook page and tell others about our event.
