Cost of carbon capture: creating a wee forest on a small budget
About this Event
Tiny Forests of fast-growing native woodland are bringing the benefits of woodlands into the heart of villages, towns and cities throughout Scotland. Packing around 600 trees into the area about the size of a tennis court, they’re designed to grow faster, absorb more carbon, and support greater levels of biodiversity than conventional woodland. But what does planting one involve and how much does it cost? Come along to SRUC at the Craibstone Campus and hear from PhD student Mike Raby about the different design options we’ve created in our botany research garden.
