Welcome to the Cosplay NYC Relaunch Event And Book Drive! Join us at Collective Kind Montessori @ Fort Greene for a day filled with cosplay fun and giving back. Whether you're a seasoned cosplayer or just getting started, this event is perfect for all fans of dressing up as their favorite characters. Don't forget to bring a book to donate to our book drive, helping to spread the love of reading to others. Get ready for a day of creativity, community, and cosplay!
๐ Why a Book Drive?
CosplayNYC is deeply committed to literacy and storytelling. This year, all donated books will be distributed to local anime clubs in NYC middle and high schools, helping cultivate a love of reading, creativity, and cultural appreciation among young fans.
No book? No problem.
You may give a suggested donation of $10 at the door in place of a book. All contributions go directly to our literacy and community arts programming.

To ensure a safe and respectful environment for all attendees, please review the following policies. By attending the event, you agree to abide by them:
- Dress Code: All attendees must wear age-appropriate and family-friendly attire. Cosplay is encouraged, but costumes must be appropriate for a multi-age event.
- Venue Respect: Any damage to the venue or its property may result in monetary penalties or removal from the event. Please treat the space with care.
- Photography & Videography By entering the event, you grant CosplayNYC permission to photograph and/or record video of you for promotional and archival purposes. If you prefer not to be documented, please inform staff upon arrival.
- Safety & Conduct Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Props must be peace-bonded; no live steel, projectiles, or realistic weapons permitted.
- Children must remain under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.
- Pets are NOT ALLOWED in the venue
- CosplayNYC Reserves the Right to remove any attendee who violates event policies.
