Cosplay n' Draw: Glow Up!
The TV isn't the only thing glowing! Want to practice drawing while celebrating Pride month amongst fellow nerds, cosplayers, and artists? Craving reference photos or want to practice posing in your favorite cosplay? Come draw these outstanding Cosplayers, or volunteer as a Cosplay model!
Join Cosplay n’ Draw at Guildhouse in San Jose on Friday, June 26th for a cosplay gathering and figure drawing event all in one! Come in cosplay and practice sketching live models at our relaxed drawing event from 7pm to 10pm! Drawing supplies will be provided! Hosted by @cosplayndraw and @moth.lon!
This event is open to attendees and models of all ages and experience levels . All attendees are welcome to cosplay, even if you're not a model!
Guildhouse has food and drinks available for purchase! Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase for guests 21+ with valid ID.

How it works:
A costumed model will be given a 10 minute time slot to pose however they’d like! Models can break this time down to any combination equaling up to 10 minutes (10 one minute poses, 2 five minute poses, 5 two minute poses, etc)
The artists will have the opportunity to draw the model within the limited time available. This is a great way for artists to practice timed, costumed figure drawing and increase their overall skill.
The host will be keeping time and will announce when it’s getting close to switching poses or ending.
How to participate:
- Walk-ins are 100% welcomed and encouraged for both artists and cosplay models!
- Artists are encouraged to take a seat and draw our cosplay models any time throughout the sessions. Please try not to block the view of any participants sitting behind you.
- Cosplayers interested in modeling, please note that you may apply for a featured timeslot by DM'ing @cosplayndraw on Instagram or walk in! Walk in model timeslots are limited to first come, first serve. Models of all figure posing experience and wearing any cosplay are welcome! Come practice your poses and be drawn by artists!
Rules:
- Be respectful to the model.
- Photography/Videography allowed unless otherwise stated
- No Touching models without consent
- If you are not participating, please refrain from distracting conversations or behavior which may interrupt the session
