About this Event
Kick off Cosplay Hollow’s new monthly workshop series with our Introduction to Sewing Machines class at Dreamyard Design Center! Whether you're brand new to sewing or just need a refresher, this hands-on workshop will teach you the fundamentals to get started on your cosplay projects with confidence.
What to Expect:
🧵 First Half – Sewing Machine Basics:
- Learn how to thread and operate a sewing machine
- Practice different stitch types and techniques
- Troubleshoot common sewing machine issues
- Get comfortable with fabric handling and basic sewing terms
✂️ Second Half – Open Studio Time:
- Continue practicing your sewing skills
- Work on a cosplay project of your choice
- Utilize Dreamyard Design Center’s sewing machines and workspace
- Get guidance and tips from experienced cosplayers
