Den 19:de November blir det dags för Cosmos & The Spacetime Experience att presentera ny musik som bandet har arbetat på det senaste året! Och en trevligare klubb att debutera denna musik på kan inte vi komma på!

Täljklubben är en månadsvis återkommande träff hos yxmakarna på Kalthoff Axes. En träff där man får komma och prova på täljning med yxa, inspireras av andra täljare eller bara hänga med de skönaste skogsmullarna i stan! Cosmos är en country septett som vuxit successivt de senaste åren från ett enmanna indie projekt som till ett fullt flängande country band. Bandet blandar hejvilt stilar som psykedelisk rock, outlaw country och svensk folkmusik i en enda (demokratisk) blandning med attityden av att alla ideer är värda att prövas! Ett fan på en tidigare konsert gav recensionen: "det skummaste hon någonsin bevittnat på en scen."
VIKTIGT: Konserten och täljningen är gratis! Men högt tryck väntas! Kom tidigt till täljklubben för att få garanterad konsertplats!
Täljklubben drar i snitt 30-40 glada täljare medans Max kapacitet i lokalen är cirka 50 pers! Konserten kommer även att filmas och spelas in! Så kom och tälj en sked eller stekspade med oss innan konserten! Så spränger vi taket 20:30!

Cosmos & The Spacetime Experience Live @ The Carving Club!
The crazy alt-Country jammers, that are Cosmos & The Spacetime Experience are due to share some of the new tunes they’ve been cooking up for the past year! And what better place to set the bar for their upcoming album release than at the Carving Club, hosted by the wonderful worker bees of Kalthof Axes!
Cosmos & The Spacetime Experience have been busy establishing themselves as an unpredictable, high energy rootsy-jam band for the past two years. Refining their craft, as they’ve grown from a one-man indie pop project into a fully fledged psychedelic country-folk band of seven members. They blend styles of Swedish folk music, psychedelic rock with the Appalachian sounds of bluegrass and outlaw-country. Mish-mashing it all together with an unpredictable, nothing-is-too-outrageous-to-try sort of attitude where all members are allowed to express themselves and share center-stage. One past audience member called it “the weirdest thing she’d ever witnessed on a live stage.”
And for those who aren’t familiar with the Carving Club, it is a free monthly gathering of Carving enthusiasts at the Kalthof Axes headquarters. To whom the Cosmos family have been avid fans of for many years! Kalthof Axes make an axe designed especially for carving. And at their carving meet up you can come try out a new hobby, meet other wood carvers and get inspired. Come and have a laugh and hang out with the chillest, most outdoorsy folk in town.
The evening will commence with a wood-carve between 17-20 and then Cosmos will play a 45 minute special live set at 20:30, which will be filmed by the awesome Peter “Peppe” Gunnarsson.
So save the date on the 19th of November! The event is free! No prior knowledge of carving required! Come with a smile & good vibes and carve a spoon with us!
BUT!!! Keep in mind that spots are limited!!! Max capacity in the club is around 50 people! (While rough attendance for the carving club is usually 30-40 people). So come early to the carving club in order to be guaranteed a spot for the show!
