Cosmic Microwave Background by Julia Fraser

Cosmic Microwave Background by Julia Fraser is a full-length play that shakes the anxieties of the digital age. Rita, a translator of Italian poetry, and her husband leave New York for remote calm in the desert. But after they arrive, only she hears a snaking sound that envelops the landscape and punctures her fresh start. When her tech-optimist neighbor echoes interest in what she hears, they set off to uncover the noise before it explodes her sanity. It propels her on a quest to find its elusive source and recover her stability. How’s your hearing?
