What if your thoughts had shapes, colours and textures? What if an idea could become a strange creature, a landscape, or an impossible world?
Inspired by Frédéric Touchard’s exhibition CORTEX, currently on view at O Gabinete de Madame Thao, this playful family workshop invites children and adults to explore the space between thought and image through drawing, painting and collage.
We’ll turn thoughts and sensations into abstract shapes, cut them up, move them around and combine them in unexpected ways to create our own imaginary mental landscapes, where bodies, objects, colours and impossible forms can coexist.
A creative, hands-on workshop about imagination, transformation, association and the pleasure of making images.
