Cortazar Aquí y Allá / Here and There – A Jazz Celebration

Join us for Cortazar Here and There with the Claudio Ragazzi Jazz Trio, featuring Zahili Zamora on piano and Edmar Colón on tenor sax, as well as readings by Alicia Borinsky and others. A reception follows.

GRAMMY Winner, EMMY Winner and EMMY-nominated film composer and guitarist, Claudio Ragazzi has been writing award winning music for film and television, scoring dozens of projects and performing with some of today’s most respected musicians at renowned concert halls in the world.

Pianist, composer and arranger most defined by her Cuban heritage and her status as a citizen of the world, Zahili Zamora is guided by her passion to connect with others through music and driven by the need to grow as an artist and as a human being. She aspires to inspire; to be a messenger of a journey that is not only her own, but one that deeply resonates with others.

Edmar Colón is a saxophonist, pianist, and composer from Coamo, Puerto Rico. He has toured and played in venues and events such as the Detroit Jazz Festival, the Puerto Rico Heineken Jazz Festival, the Toronto Jazz Festival, the Panama Jazz Festival, and the Montreal Jazz Festival, among others. In 2016, Colón was awarded the Latino 30 under 30 Award New England from the newspaper El Mundo.
