Corstorphine Dynamo Sportsman Dinner 2023

We are delighted to be able to announce our first ever Sportsman Dinner at the Leonardo Murrayfield Hotel on Saturday 1st July.

We would like to invite you to a special evening, guests will be served a two course dinner followed by some of the most popular after-dinner speakers in the country including Scott Wilson, Willie Allan and Eric Davidson.

Scott Wilson, also known as the voice of Hearts FC will be hosting the evening. For over 30 years Scott has hosted events all over the UK including working for companies such as Amazon, BMW, and Bank of Scotland. He has also been the voice of The Thistle Awards, Visit Scotland Awards & the Radio Forth Awards.

Eric Davidson is recognised as one of Scotland's finest After Dinner Speakers and Comedians. Born in Newtongrange he has been on the After Dinner circuit for 20 years and has performed all over Scotland and the UK including selling out his last 10 Edinburgh Festival shows!

Willie Allan MBE was born in Fife and worked as a PE teacher for over 30 years. During this time he re-established rugby at Buckhaven High School with the formation of the Buckhaven Sharks and the Sharkettes. During his time as a teacher and principal teacher he has obtained a considering amount of material from the eclectric mix of pupils he has taught over the years. The Herald once said he was "undoubtedly the best after dinner speaker in Scotland".

On the evening we will be hosting a raffle and auction which we will announce nearer the time.
