Our next Correctional Officer Hiring Event is Saturday, January 4, 2025! From 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Delaware Department of Correction Administration Building, 245 McKee Road, Dover, stop in for the opportunity to speak one-on-one with DOC Recruiters and Human Resource professionals about our new higher starting salary for Correctional Officers and lower age requirement, the hiring process, Academy training, and more.- Learn more about how new Correctional Officer applicants can select their Level V prison facility assignment and start the process of becoming a Correctional Officer.

- Participate in the short required in-person interview

Minimum age to apply is 18 years old. There is no maximum age limit.
You must possess a driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED before applying.
The State of Delaware does not require a Civil Service Exam.
Must be a U.S. citizen, have permanent U.S. residency, or a Certificate of Naturalization.
