Correcting the Narrative screening presented by 23rd Forward Iowa (formerly Coalition to Abolish Slavery at Iowa), The Community, and more partners coming soon.Join us for an thought provoking evening with Shannon Ross, Director of the Milwaukee-based organization, "The Community," as we delve into the stories of formerly incarcerated individuals working to overcome obstacles post-release. The event kicks off with a powerful video presentation featuring personal narratives that aim to correct the societal viewpoint on reintegration. Following the video, Shannon Ross will moderate a panel discussion with broad range of experts to explore the themes and insights shared. The event will conclude with an audience Q&A, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to engage in this critical dialogue on supporting reintegration and challenging preconceived notions.
