About this Event
The Health Promotion Alliance Ireland (HPAI) is an all-island coalition with a shared interest in advocating for major policy change to promote the primary prevention of chronic disease. It comprises over twenty leading organisations.
The event will present evidence on the direct correlation between industry influence and the rise of chronic diseases. Bringing together experts in academia, policy and lived experience to showcase how corporate tactics, including lobbying and marketing strategies, fuel the industrial epidemic of chronic disease in Ireland. The event will also explore pathways forward, identifying evidence-based solutions and policy actions needed to protect public health and drive meaningful change.
