Corporate Governance – Financial Reporting and Internal Controls
About this Event
As accountants, we prepare financial reports, manage compliance obligations, advise management and directors, and are often expected to identify risks before they become problems. But how well do you understand the legal framework that sits behind these responsibilities?
This session will help accountants better understand the legal requirements surrounding financial reporting, governance, compliance and internal controls, and how these obligations affect their day-to-day work.
Whether you work in industry, public practice, advisory, understanding these legal concepts can help you manage risk, support directors and ensure your organisation remains compliant.
