John, a lifelong resident of Northbridge, Massachusetts, gave his life in service to his country while deployed to Jalalabad, Afghanistan on April 8, 2015, serving with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).
As we gather to mark this solemn anniversary, we invite veterans, families, and all community members to join us in ensuring John’s sacrifice is never forgotten. Together, we will reflect on his life, his service, and the legacy he leaves behind.
Safety Notice
There will be police details on-site to ensure the safety of all participants during the ceremony. We ask that all those traveling through the area remain mindful and respectful of the ceremony taking place, and of all those gathering to honor and remember Corporal Dawson’s legacy.
