Coronation Concert Screening at Alnwick Castle

Join us in the grounds of Alnwick Castle to watch a screening of the Coronation Concert live from Windsor Castle.

EVENT INFORMATION

• Gates will open at 6pm, with the screening expected to start at 8pm. Re-entry is permitted until 9:30pm.
  
• Coronation Concert event tickets permit entry to the Castle Courtyard and Outer Bailey only, on Sunday 7th May 2023 between 6pm and 10pm
  
• Children aged 18 years or under must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult over the age of 18 at all times.
  
• Please ensure everyone included in your booking is present prior to entry.
  
• Entry to the event will be via the Alnwick Castle Bailiffgate entrance. The nearest post code for this location is NE66 1NG. The nearest What Three Words /// began.visitors.inhabited.
  
• There are a number of free Council car parks within walking distance, details can be found via this link.
  
• Limited disabled parking is available on Castle square (NE66 1NG)
  
• This is an outdoor event so please come prepared. You may want to check the weather forecast before setting off. Coats and warm clothing are recommended.
  
• You are welcome to bring low-backed chairs, cushions and rugs to sit on. No seating will be provided. Please do not bring umbrellas, tents or camping trolleys as they can block the view for others and take considerably more space.
  
• Picnics are welcome however we have a strict no glass and no alcohol policy.
  
• The site will be no smoking and no vaping.
  
• Catering and toilet facilities are available in the Castle Courtyard, including a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities.
  
• There will be no temporary storage facilities at this event.
  
• The event will continue in all but the most extreme weather conditions (such as persistent heavy rain, strong winds or thunderstorms).
  
• If we have to cancel the event in advance we will notify you as soon as possible via the email used when booking.
  
• Upon entry to the event each guest will be given a wristband which must be worn at all times. This wristband must be shown when exiting the event during the times we allow re-entry.
  

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• One ticket admits one person only, children under the age of 1 years, do not require a ticket.
  
• Only Assistance Dogs are permitted.
  
• Bag checking will be in operation for all guests. Prohibited items will need to be removed or disposed of prior to admission. Bins for disposal will be available. Prohibited items that have been removed will not be stored for later collection. Please see the list of prohibited items below:

2. Glass items of any kind*
   
3. Flammable liquids
   
4. BBQs, candles or fires
   
5. Drones
   
6. Laser pens/pointers
   
7. Knives, firearms or weapons of any kind
   
8. Illegal drugs or substances
   
9. Projectiles (Frisbees, beach balls, footballs etc.)
   
10. Fireworks, confetti or glitter bombs
    
11. Cycles, scooters, skateboards and wheeled shoes
    
12. Anything else which we deem to ruin the enjoyment or viewing experience of others.
    

*Exceptions will be made for those with medical requirements and/or additional needs. We ask that this is communicated to us ahead of the visit for ease of entry.

• Professional audio, video or photographic recordings are not permitted at any time during the screening.
  
• Alnwick Castle reserve the right to amend or cancel this event as required. If we make a significant change to the event, we will inform you via email.
  
• We will not refund any travel costs associated with cancellations.
  
• Once booked, tickets are non-transferrable.
  
• If these terms are not complied with, we reserve the right to refuse entry or eject you and your party from the event.
  
• We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Modifications shall be effective immediately, ticket holders will be informed via email.
