Cornwall Socialist Meeting

Gathering for all socialists in Cornwall. The aim is to gather enabling us to get to know each other better. A chance for us to keep motivated and united for Cornwall and the issues that matter to us.
We are trying to ensure that participants can join online at this meeting.
Local, regional and national activities are welcome to be discussed and the way forward for a united socialist group in Cornwall.
You are welcome to propose discussion points but we will keep the agenda loose to allow discussion to flow freely. It is important to ensure that everyone has a voice and it may be necessary to plan for wider, inclusive discussion on certain points after the meeting.
We are united in socialism and there are many active, focussed and knowledgeable people in Cornwall offering broad socialist views and opinions. We aim for this to be an inclusive and safe space for people to voice their views in a respectful manner.
We are moving to Redruth for this month's meeting as most members who attend are concentrated around the west of Cornwall. Whilst Lanivet provides excellent facilities they are very booked up and getting a suitable date was not possible for May.
Parking is limited but there is free parking at New Cut car park. Five mins walk and free on Sundays, please car share where possible.
Donations to cover the cost of room hire are welcome in cash on the day. There is no funding or budget for this event so we have not booked any extras. Please let us know if you would like to come and have any special requirements, we will do our best to provide a space for everyone.
There is a kitchen we can use for refreshments and we will bring tea and coffee etc. Please bring lunch to share or for yourself.
Please bring any information to share about relevant campaigns and issues you are involved in and can be supported widely throughout Cornwall.
