Join us on August 27 for the CornMaiz String Band.
CornMaiz is headed by Appalachian banjoist and flatfoot dancer Carla Gover, and is a nouveau old-time family string band featuring original music, traditional, old-time tunes from East Kentucky, and unique versions of some famous cover songs. Hailing from four different mountain counties, the band features clawhammer banjo, mandolin, guitar, bass, fiddle, and three part harmonies.
This is a FREE concert!
Food trucks are: TBD, Bella's Ice Cream, and beverages by Wise Bird Cider.
Bring your lawn chair or blanket to settle in and experience the lively sounds of bluegrass in a welcoming atmosphere. Stay afterward for a jam session; bring your instrument or just enjoy the sounds!
