Corktown Comedy Christmas spectacular with Larry Smith and DK Phan

Comedy @ C orktown Irish Pub is getting into the Xmas spirit, Dec 21st with with some of Ontarios Best comedians! The night will be filled with amazing comedians, Ugly Sweater contest followed by a DJ spinning hits from the 70-80s and 90s!

Closing out the show we have two headliners, Toronto's own DK Phan, Actor, Comedian and Matrial arts expert.DK graces the stage with an amicable demeanor that puts you at ease as he delivers relatable down to earth writing with a subtle edge to it.

We also have local favorite, Legndary Larry smith, who is celebrating his 40th year as a stand up comeidan!

Larry Smith has been performing stand-up comedy professionally for over 30 years and he's still the life of the party!

On May 5th, 1984, a young stand-up comedian took the stage at Crackers Comedy Club in Hamilton, Ontario. Since that day Larry has embraced a career that has taken him across Canada and the north-eastern USA performing with comedy legends such as Gilbert Godfrey, Sam Kinison and Rita Coolidge. Larry has also opened for musical greats such as The Northern Pikes, Blue Rodeo and Ian Thomas.

His performances on stage include a variety of unique styles to suit anyone's palette. Larry's shows range from off-beat, in-your-face adult comedy to family friendly sets without losing his trademark hilarity.

Larry Smith has produced both audio CDs and DVDs of his act including his hilarious and highly recommended 20th anniversary DVD. His numerous television appearances on shows such as Comedy at Club 54, Cooking With Comics and The Comedy Network have brought him to the status of a household name in Canada. He also co-hosted the Ben Guyatt Radio Show on CHML on Sunday nights for two years.

Larry's experience has made him a king of the stage, bringing laughter to audiences of all ages.

​DK Phan is a Canadian Vietnamese standup comedian based out of Toronto. Since getting his start in 2010 at the Second City Training Centre where he studied stand-up, improv, and acting – he has performed all across North America including Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, New York, and LA.

DK graces the stage with an amicable demeanor that puts you at ease as he delivers relatable down to earth writing with a subtle edge to it. His acute observations come off clean but are by no means friendly. His relatable and down to earth style of writing has earned him time on Rogers TV, Absolute Comedy and Yuk Yuks stages, as well as showcases for the Just for Laughs festival.
