Join us at the beloved Waterfire Arts Center on Thursday, September 26th @6:30pm. Author Corey Brettschneider will be speaking on his nonfiction exploration of democracy, "The Presidents and the People: Five Leaders who Threatened Democracy and the Citizens who Fought to Defend It".
Brettschneider dives deeply, but accessibly, into the political legacies of John Adams, James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, Woodrow Wilson, & Richard Nixon.
Join us at Waterfire to hear his highly researched account of how Americans have defended democracy against these historical figureheads.
