At Gala 2026, we're defining the next chapter of children’s health. This year, we turn our full attention to the youngest among us.By advancing two key focus areas — pediatric research and child and family life services — we can spark innovative treatments, provide compassionate emotional care and ensure that every child receives the support they need — without leaving West Michigan.
From explaining procedures in ways kids understand to using music, art and play to help manage anxiety, our child and family life team is a vital part of every healing journey. And while it’s not reimbursed by insurance, its impact is immeasurable. At the same time, our pediatric research team is advancing care at the molecular level — delivering first-in-the-nation treatments, decoding rare diseases and rewriting the future of childhood medicine. This work touches thousands of young lives across West Michigan and beyond. Neither of these pillars of care can grow without philanthropic support.
The next generation of pediatric health can’t wait for another generation to go by. This is our responsibility and moment to respond. Let’s build something for the next generation.
