Build your core from the floor!Join Coach Danie (they/them) for a progressive mat-based series designed for folks who want to feel more connected and stable in their bodies. If you’ve ever noticed feeling a little “floppy” when standing still, struggling to sit upright without slouching, or feeling like your body parts don’t always work together, this class is for you.
Inspired by mat Pilates, we’ll focus on core engagement and whole-body connection in ways that support hypermobile joints, improve stability, and help you translate these skills into everyday life and other movement practices. Expect a low stim setting, gentle progressions, clear cues, and a supportive environment where your unique body is celebrated. Most of the class will be laying, sitting, or kneeling on the floor - great for those who struggle with quick transitions into standing!
What you’ll gain:
-Stronger core and better stability, so you feel more supported in daily movements
-Improved posture and alignment for sitting, standing, and moving with ease
-Greater body awareness to help you connect the dots between different parts of your body
-Confidence in your movement, whether you’re lifting, walking, or just living your life

This series is welcome to all who are interested and is taught by a queer instructor who understands the complexity of moving through fitness spaces not always designed for our unique needs. Come as you are, let’s build strength from the ground up!
