UPDATED SEPT 29, 2022 ...IMPORTANT!!! CHANGE OF START TIME!!! Cordova's Homecoming Alumni Reception starts at 5:30pm at the Cafeteria (NOT 5pm as previously stated!) this Friday 9/30/22. This is per Josh Creeger of Cordova High School who handles our Alumni Homecoming Reception at the Cafeteria.

5:30PM - ALUMNI RECEPTION AT THE CAFETERIA - Cordova’s “Welcome Home” Reception for Cordova Alumni. Cordova High School puts this reception on for the alumni in our old school cafeteria area. They have snacks, drinks, and welcoming smiles for you! You don’t want to miss this!

There’s 2 colors of shirts RED and BLACK to choose from. And, there’s 2 LOGOS to choose from - “Larry Lancer” and “CHS Shield”. ORDER TODAY! The amazing BIG RED MARCHING MACHINE lead by incomparable KEVIN SIMS (Music Director) will be performing for the ALUMNI in the Amphitheater along with the incredible CORDOVA VARSITY CHEER SQUAD performing their spirited routines to get the Alumni back into the Lancer for Life spirit! Once a Lancer ALWAYS a Lancer!
7:00PM - We’re off to the Varsity game against Foothill High School. Let’s GO BIG RED!
DESIGNATED ALUMNI SEATING AREA: Directly in the first set of bleachers and you enter the field is the ALUMNI SEATING AREA. The Cordova concession area has delicious food trucks, beverages, Lancers merchandise on sale, and so much more. As you head over to the bleachers, the designated Alumni Seating Section is the first set of bleachers (closest to the entry). It will be marked off for us so you can't miss it! Look for the LANCER ALUMNI banner on the wire fence in front of the bleachers!
ALUMNI HALF-TIME PARADE! Join all of us alumni at the home end of the field (along the track) to line up for the Alumni Parade! Be there with your banners & signs ready for the Varsity half-time ALUMNI PARADE that stands out like a beacon! Bring your spirit, your banners and signs, wear your school colors, old Letterman jackets and Club C sweaters, cheerleader uniforms (any part will do) ... BRING IT ALL!!!
ALUMNI CHEERLEADERS - Stand with all of the Alumni Cheerleaders for the National Anthem once again! The traditional lineup of Alumni Cheerleaders/Songleaders/Mascots is done in order of grad year! It's so fun and the current Cheer Squad get a real kick out of us showing them our old cheers. Yes, there will be practice if you want to learn their routines and share yours! These girls are great and our new Head Cheer Coach Katelyn is really making this an amazing Cheer Team! For more information; contact Katelyn by email [email protected] .

TICKETS TO THE HOMECOMING GAME FOR ALUMNI ARE $6 (the same as Student prices per Michele Campo Brown (CHS Assistant Vice Principal). PARKING is $10 this year (2022) to park by the old gym, cafeteria and stadium parking lot. The price is higher because this is a fundraiser for Cordova Football and will be split with another Cordova sport (TBA). However, you can park for free in the school parking lot, but be forewarned that there's 9 Class Reunions this year ALL planning their reunion around Homecoming! So parking may be limited in the free area! The $10 goes to the Cordova Lancers; so it's for a good cause!
AFTER PARTIES! Ohhh … YOU KNOW we'll be having a few of those! Let us know what your plans are & tell us your grad year! Let's make this one big Alumni BASH! Check with your alumni friends to see where their party is!
